Please tell us a bit more about the report you’re working on. We've built up an approach to working with different stakeholders in these regions to really understand what the opportunities are for the sector to grow. We've looked at a number of sectors in different regions, such as FinTech in Leeds or LegalTech in Bristol and Bath, and we've started to understand what's happening in those sectors from an ecosystem perspective. We're based in six cities across the UK, including Milton Keynes, and we’re keen to support and work with local organisations – in all of these cities we've undertaken a local ecosystem analysis. We're sector agnostic – for example, we work with universities, manufacturers, retailers, banks. We help them analyse what's going on at the moment and look at what might happen in the future, and we guide them through options of what they can do going forward. All shared a common consulting philosophy – to be trusted partners to senior leadership teams of health systems and provider networks across the United States.īy 2015, the healthcare consulting space was undergoing rapid disruption, consolidation, and corporate restructuring – often times getting in the way of the client’s best interest. With varying educational backgrounds in business administration, health administration, and pharmacy, they were all committed to developing careers in the healthcare provider space.ĭuring their tenure at KSA and other consulting firms, the Whitecap partners each developed subspecialty areas of interest and unique subject matter expertise – from sectors like academic medical centers to functions like capital asset planning and service line planning. Prior to joining Whitecap, each held a senior leadership position in the Health Care Strategy Practice of Kurt Salmon Associates (KSA), one of the earliest management consulting firms in the United States. “A Ship in the Harbor is Safe, but that is not What Ships are Built For”Īll five founding partners of Whitecap Health Advisors have spent their entire professional careers advising leadership teams of hospitals and health systems.
